Town of Stark, New Hampshire

Stark is located in The Great North Woods, Coos County, Northern New Hampshire.  Stark is a small town that borders both Jericho Mountain State Park and Nash Stream Forest Natural Area.  Located along Route 110, the town of Stark NH is famous for the beautiful, historic covered bridge and also well known for the World War II POW camp named "Camp Stark".

The town of Stark NH, according to the United States Census Bureau, has a total area of 58.7 square miles.   The town is bordered by the easter edge of the Pilot Range, White Mountains New Hampshire.

Stark includes the villages of Percy and Crystal, and Stark.  Located on the Upper Ammonoosuc River, the bordering towns include Groveton and Berlin.

The town of stark has a volunteer Fire Department, Heritage Center, Elementary School, and Transfer Station.  The nearest hospital is Weeks Memorial Hospital, approximately 18 miles.
